QP1-60 Sanitary 2.5" Must Pump
An 80 GPM must pump with stainless steel head, gearbox, and motor for superior sanitary transfers.
Overview
With a 2.5" inlet and outlet, the QP1-60 represents the smallest true "must pump" in the QP1 series of RPD pumps. Some people tell us they're able to move must with a smaller 2" pump, but we don't recommend it. Too easy to clog. 2.5" is just right for must, mash, and other semi-solid transfer. It also works well with more viscous products like molasses and syrups.
Like all QP1s, the main benefits of this pump are that it can pull suction and self-prime, run forward and reverse, and can run dry without damage. Don't be fooled by the "60" in the name, the true maximum speed of this pump is about 80 GPM.
QP1 line of pumps are completely parts-interchangeable with Waukesha Universal 1 series head. Unlike Waukesha pumps, both the head and gearbox are made entirely from stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance. Looks very sharp as well.
With an operating temperature range up to 300 °F, ZP1 pumps are ideal for moving boiling products. At the low end, they are rated for minimum temps of -40 °F/°C, and special configurations can be provided for lower temperature transfers, if required.
No remote means you control the pump from the VFD—the grey box attached to the cart. With a speed control remote you can control the speed from 0-100% on a 35-foot cord. The full control remote allows you to change speed as well as the pumping direction from forward to reverse using the remote on a 35-foot cord. The wireless remote does all of the above, just using a wireless remote control on a lanyard.
