Overview

The DIN 11851 nut ties the whole fitting together. DIN nuts are characterized by large threads with rounded edges that make it easy to clean and sanitize. If you're welding a male DIN sleeve on, you'll need to place one of these over it such that it pulls the sleeve forward when tightening it to create the seal.
