Overview

The Mori Press comes with a one-speed hydraulic pump. The ram moves slowly and at a very high pressure. This can be tedious if you are trying to quickly get the ram lowered into position for pressing, or if you need to quickly raise the ram out of the way after use. It can take a couple of minutes.

To help speed things up Mori offers the dual-speed pump option. With this option you now have the ability to engage a high speed/low pressure pump that moves the ram up and down quickly — about 5x as fast — and gets the ram into position. We highly recommend this option!
