Overview
TuderTechnica's GlideTech Butyl hose is a premium, phthalates-free transfer hose that is ideal for use as a brewery hose and premium winery hose. The extremely smooth GlideTech outer cover allows the hose to slip freely and easily over concrete floors. It resists picking up dirt, and retains its signature shiny red appearance for years and years. Just wipe down the exterior with a wet cloth.
GlideTech Butyl is well known for its superior odor and flavor neutrality. It imparts nothing, ensuring the absolute integrity of your final product. GlideTech hoses are reinforced with stainless steel coils internally, giving them the ability to withstand normal working pressures up to 150 psi and vacuum up to 30 In. Hg.
We apply heavy-duty stainless steel sanitary hose crimp ferrules in the length you choose. We show common sizes here on our website, but can cut custom lengths as required. Crimp ferrules provide a secure and smooth connection without snags or sharp edges. Hoses are individually leak tested to ensure integrity.
1" hose uses barbs that mate to 1.5" hose ends. So, if your pump or tank fittings are 1.5" Tri Clamp you can safely use 1" hose and save a little extra weight (and money), though you will limit the flow rate. All other hose ends use the same Tri Clamp size as hose size. 1.5" hose uses 1.5" hose ends, and so on.
Lead Time, Custom Lengths, 3" or Larger Hoses
So that we can get everyone exactly the hose lengths they need, we keep bulk hose in stock and cut/crimp each order to your specified length. Hose orders usually takes 3–5 business days to build, so plan accordingly. If you need faster turnaround for your hose order, please give us a call to discuss rush fee service.
If you need custom down-to-the-inch hose lengths, no problem. We can do that! Give us a call.
Finally, if you need large-diameter hoses (3" ID or greater), give us a call. Depending on the amount and lengths you need, it may or may not be able to ship by parcel carriers (It also messes up our shipping cost calculator). Thus, we usually like to discuss your needs to determine which transportation method will be the best fit. Suffice it to say, we normally stock 3" and 4" hoses, and will be happy to make some custom-cut lengths for you.
