A double-filtration plate — a.k.a. crossover plate — allows you to perform two grades of filtration in a single pass. Go from coarse to fine without needing to change out pads, for example.

You simply add the crossover plate somewhere in the center of your Mori 20 x 20 plate & frame system. You may have to remove a few plates for it to fit, keep in mind. Remove the original liquid outlet fitting and place it on the opposite end of the frame. Liquid will pass through the first set of filters, then go through the crossover plate and into the second set of filters, then finally onto the new outlet.

Keep in mind: plate and frame systems are not standardized, and parts are specific to their brand. This is designed to work with Mori's 20 x 20 plate & frame systems only.
