Harvest Order Item

Harvest items arrive from Europe once a year, in time for the wine harvest season.

Usually we get our containers from Europe in late July, sometimes early August depending on port conditions.

If you are interested in purchasing equipment for the current year's harvest, you must place an order with at least 50% deposit no later than April 1st of the same year. You can contact us to place a deposit, or place your order online to secure delivery in time for harvest.

Overview

Mori's MFV Grape Trailers take your grapes from the vineyard to the crush pad in the most gentle way possible. It even goes a step further by converting from a receiving bin to a dosing hopper. By reducing the amount of intermediate steps and transfers between the vineyard and crush pad, the integrity of your whole grapes is insured throughout processing. It works particularly well with mechanically harvested grape operations.

When you're receiving grapes in the vineyard, the MFV is a simple stainless steel bin, holding up to 5 tons of grapes (3 ton configuration also available). Once loaded up, it can be hauled to the crush pad where it becomes a dynamic dosing hopper. It can tilt and vibrate, gently metering grapes into a destemmer, or other crush pad equipment, with an output height of up 2.5 meters. Height, angle of tilt, and vibration speed are adjustable, allowing you to move as fast or slow as you like.
