Harvest Order Item

Harvest items arrive from Europe once a year, in time for the wine harvest season.

Usually we get our containers from Europe in late July, sometimes early August depending on port conditions.

If you are interested in purchasing equipment for the current year's harvest, you must place an order with at least 50% deposit no later than April 1st of the same year. You can contact us to place a deposit, or place your order online to secure delivery in time for harvest.

Overview

Mori's Rolly automates grape sorting after destemming. Most destemmers produce some MOG, requiring a tedious post-destemming sort. The Rolly can go directly underneath your destemmer and send irregularly shaped MOG—errant stems, twigs, etc.—on its way while letting the grapes fall through.

The distance between rollers can be easily adjusted, allowing you to accommodate many different varietals with the same machine.

Grapes initially fall on full profile rollers. Liquid can fall through to a capture tank, but the grapes and MOG are pushed forward and flattened out over the table. The next section of rollers are spaced out, allowing grapes to fall through, while irregularly shaped objects are pushed on toward the exit of the table.
