When dosed correctly, Potassium Metabisulfite helps prevent unwanted microbial growth while still allowing yeast to flourish. Add 17.4g per HL to achieve a concentration of 100 ppm. For example, to add 40 ppm to a tank containing 1000 liters (10 HL) we use the following calculation: (17.4 × 10 × 40) ÷ 100 = 6.96g
