Overview

Quinti's wine bottling lines offer a practical solution for small commercial facilities with premium packaging standards. They are designed to fill, cork (or screw-cap), capsule, and label a high-end bottle of wine without compromises, and with minimal user intervention.

To put it another way: a fully-outfitted Quinti line is designed to operate with just one user. No scheduling bottling crews, no working around the bottling truck's calendar, just one user producing about 40 cases per hour of shelf-ready wine.

The Quinti Difference

Quinti's bottling lines are different from any other bottling monoblock on the market. First off: they are beautiful. You may not have known that a bottling line could be beautiful, but…well, just look at it. Of course, beauty is only skin deep. It's what's inside that really counts. Inside and out, the Quinti is a marvel to behold.

The heart of the Quinti line is its conveyor. Most bottling monoblocks use a one-size-fits-all conveyor belt that moves bottles along from station to station. Their belts also scuff up the bottom of your bottles, require fine-tuning and adjustment to keep the bottles aligned, and are quite noisy.

Quinti doesn't use a normal conveyor belt. They make custom cups to fit your specific bottles. Each bottle is placed in its own cup. The cup keeps your bottles perfectly aligned from the get-go, providing for consistent positioning (and reduced noise). Bottles are evenly spaced and accurately placed at all times. This prevents the alignment and adjustment errors that plague other bottling lines.

Options & Designations

Gravity vs. AOX

Traditional gravity filling allows wine to flow freely into the bottle, and guarantees perfect level fills with a system that sucks small amounts of excess liquid into a recovery tank. AOX uses light pressure to push liquid into the bottle, and inert gas to ensure there is no oxidation. Your product's unique flavor and aromatic characteristics remain unaltered throughout bottling.

Both gravity and AOX require a pump to deliver product to the filler. For the AOX line we recommend a small Ragazzini peristaltic pump.

Gold, Silver, & Platinum Lines

Quinti's wine lines are divided into three different categories: Gold, Silver, and Platinum. We'll go over the differences.

Quinti Gold

For minimal cost and minimal fuss, the Quinti Gold lines are the most basic bottling setup Quinti offers. The Gold line simply rinses, fills, and corks. If you wish to apply a label or foil capsule, you can do so outside the line.

There are no accumulation tables, so the line is generally operated by two users; one at the entrance feeding bottles, and one at the exit pulling them off the line. If the user at the end has to bail out, no problem. The line will stop automatically when a bottle reaches the end.

Gold Lines Include:
  • Manual bottle rinser
  • Inert gas sparging
  • Gravity or light pressure AOX filling
  • Corker with vacuum

Quinti Silver

In the Olympics, gold may be better than silver. In Quinti's metallurgical designation, however, silver beats gold. The Quinti Silver Line contains everything found on the Gold Line, but add a few extras to arrive at a shelf-ready final package. Namely, labeling and capsule application.

The Quinti Silver Line starts to manifest the promise of a single-person bottling solution. With the standard Silver Line, two users are generally required; one at the inlet, one at the outlet.

Silver Lines Include:
  • Everything on the Gold line
  • Labeler for front & back labels on the same roll
  • Inkjet batch/info printer
  • Capsule applicator (heat shrink or foil) with automatic cap feeder

Platinum Line

The Quinti Platinum line achieves full one-user operation. In fact, it doesn't even require that user's full attention. Empty bottles can be dumped onto the accumulation table until it is at capacity. The Platinum line takes care of the rest, automatically pulling bottles off the table and placing them onto the Quinti Line. Perfectly shelf-ready bottles will gather at the accumulation table on the end of the line until the table is full. At that point, the line just stops. You have time to greet guests that wander in for a tasting, or sign for a package without worrying about your bottling going off the rails at breakneck speeds.

Quinti Platinum lines Include
  • Everything on the Quinti Silver line
  • Automatic bottle rinser
  • Accumulation tables at entrance and exit with Pick & Place on and off the line, for full one-user operation

Optional Add-Ons

Quinti has thought of nearly everything. But for those with exceptionally demanding applications or packaging standards there's more options to choose from that will help elevate your product.

HD LED Lights illuminate the interior of your bottles with a high-visibility light as they pass through the main filling/corking body, ensuring high QC standards are met.

The Bottle Phasing System rotates the bottle before labeling to avoid placing the label on a bottle's weld seam, ensuring high consistent, faultless packaging. (Available on Platinum Line only)

Additional sets of Changeover Cups to work with different bottle shapes/sizes

Inert Gas Sparging will likely be a standard addition for most users. A dose of inert gas helps stabilize product and prevent oxygen pickup.

Industry 4.0 data output to communicate with your infrastructure management software

Remote Assistance from Quinti's technicians that allows them to connect and troubleshoot your machine remotely (one year included free), annual subscription thereafter.

Remote Control via tablet or phone with a customized network connection.
