Overview
Rebuilding your SimpleSeries AODD pump is…simple! The first thing to understand is that there are two sides to any AODD pump: the wet
side and the air
side.
The wet side is composed of all the parts that come into contact with the pumped product. Typically this includes diaphragms, valve seats, o-rings, and check valve balls. If your pump is leaking from the air exhaust, it's likely that the diaphragms ruptured. If it's chugging but not pumping, then the check balls or valve seats may have sustained some damage, and need to be replaced. Replace everything at once with a kit to ensure even wear.
The air side is the center section. It's the part that converts your compressed air into energy to power the pump. If it is stalling, running sluggishly, or not running at all, it's likely the air section needs to be rebuilt.
Whatever the case may be, keep a set of spares on-hand to ensure minimal downtime. If you're unsure of which kit you need, please give us a call.
