You can control your pump's speed and direction from the VFD (Variable Frequency Drive), a.k.a. the box on the cart that you plug into your wall. But using the drive controls at the pump may not be ideal; particularly if you're standing on a ladder looking into your tank, or trying to quickly jog the pump while shining a flashlight down into a barrel.
