Overview

For start-up wineries that don't need the bells & whistles of a high-volume monoblock—to say nothing of their price tag—Quinti's Wine Smart bottling monoblock is just the ticket. It fills bottles and then inserts a cork. That's all. A single user can operate it and produce about 33 cases an hour of corked wine bottles without a label or foil, a.k.a. shiners.

Unlike Quinti's signature wine lines that are designed for customized, bespoke production, the Wine Smart is a blessedly simple machine, and wheels around your facility on casters. There's no touchscreen interface, just a start/stop button and a speed knob. Do you want to bottle fast or slow today? Just turn the knob.

Wine enters the bottles with gravity, and stops when the bottle is full to your set level. A pump connection will keep the reservoir topped off. The bottles are then corked under vacuum and exit the machine. If a bottle reaches the end of the line and you have your back turned, don't worry. Bottles won't go crashing to the floor. The line will stop automatically until the bottles are removed from the exit. Very smart.

The corker pulls vacuum, allowing you to lay bottles flat immediately without worrying they will leak or spoil due to pressure changes in the bottle.

You can opt for an ROPP/Stelvin capper rather than a corker, if you prefer. The cost remains the same. Just tell us at the time of ordering which you prefer.

As with all Quinti machines, changing over to a different bottle is a breeze thanks to Quinti's unique cup conveyor system. The conveyor doesn't use fiddly one-size-fits-all conveyor belts. Quinti makes cups that fit your bottles. Place your bottles in the conveyor belt cups. The cups keep the bottles centered and perfectly positioned, minimizing the need for you to micro-adjust. Quinti can make new cups in about a week if you decide to change bottles. When you need change over to a different bottle format, you just pop the cups off (Quinti makes a tool for that) and pop new cups on.
