Overview
Sandpiper's T15 pump is designed to make wine & beer transfer effortless and efficient. The T15 leaves competitive pumps like those made by Wilden or Yamada in the dust with industry-leading air motor efficiency. That means you can move much higher volumes of product while using less compressed air. You will see significantly lower energy usage, resulting in a pump that quickly pays for itself.
The T15 offers 1.5" internal tubing diameters that are large enough to move beer mash and other viscous products with some solids in suspension up to 1/4". This makes it an effective pump for unloading mash tuns or performing pumpovers, as well as general tasks like filtration, barrel transfers, etc.
Sandpiper's T-Series pumps truly shine when it comes to maintenance. If you've ever tried to service the air motor on a Wilden or Yamada AODD pump, you know that it can be frustrating and time-consuming, requiring significant disassembly and downtime. Sandpiper's pumps are the only ones in the industry that feature an Externally Serviceable Air Distribution System (ESADS+) that can be cleaned or serviced in as little as 5 minutes!
These pumps can be outfitted several ways:
Bare Pump: This is just the bare pump, straight from the box. Getting a bare pump means you will be setting up air flow controls and hookups to your air line yourself.
Air Control Kit: We add a quick-connect fitting to hook up to your air line, a filter-regulator to protect debris from entering the air motor and allow you to set the max pressure, and a ball valve that allows you to quickly control the pump's speed or shut it off completely. Everything is welded to a heavy-duty mounting plate and bolted to the body of the pump.
Air Control Kit + Cart: This includes everything in the air control kit, with the pump and all pieces mounted to one of our stainless steel carts, featuring a basket for small parts and high-capacity foam-filled wheels. We highly recommend a cart on all 1" and larger AODD pumps unless you plan to permanently mount the pump in one spot.
