To professionally assemble a hose using preformed clamps, you need a special tool. This one. This tool pulls the tail of the preformed clamp very tightly, then snaps it off, locking it in place. It works with Strapbinder preformed hose clamps as well as Band-It Jr. clamps up to 3/4" x .030 band width.

You can use the Strapbinder tool to make your own custom professional-grade hose assemblies, or repair damaged hose. Just cut out the damaged section, insert some new hose ends, and apply a few preformed clamps to get it back up and running. No dinky screw clamps.

This assembly includes the basic tool for tightening, as well as the adapter to apply Band-It Jr.-style preformed hose clamps.
