Sraml VPi Inert Gas Membrane Presses

Requires Freight Shipping

This item is too large to ship by parcel carriers. We'll ship it on a pallet and reach out to you with freight quotes prior to shipping. Keep in mind that heavier pallets are usually cheaper to ship than lighter ones, so consider adding more items to your order to save on shipping costs overall.

Harvest Order Item

Harvest items arrive from Europe once a year, in time for the wine harvest season.

Usually we get our containers from Europe in late July, sometimes early August depending on port conditions.

If you are interested in purchasing equipment for the current year's harvest, you must place an order with at least 50% deposit no later than April 1st of the same year. You can contact us to place a deposit, or place your order online to secure delivery in time for harvest.

Overview

Sraml's VPi series of inert pneumatic membrane presses saturate the press interior with nitrogen, preventing oxidation and contributing to fresh, aromatic wines that are impossible to produce with conventional membrane presses. Delicate varietal aromas, natural antioxidants, and intense flavors are all preserved throughout the pressing cycle in the hermetically sealed interior chamber.

VPi Series presses offer all features from Sraml's standard line of presses, but add the INERTIS system of pressing. Loading, pressing, and juice collection are all carried out under an inert atmosphere of nitrogen.

Sraml is committed to advancing winemaking technology. As a result, the INERTIS is equipped with a number of features that can elevate your art, including a large touchscreen terminal that allows you to monitor the press cycle and control pressing on the fly.

Standard Features

  • Large 10" touchscreen terminal
  • Watertight sliding doors with inflatable seal
  • Pneumatic doors that open and close automatically
  • Central juice outlet
  • Smart speed rotation for gentle movements
  • Sraml INERTIS automatic pressing and monitoring system
  • Elevated press legs

Optional Addons

  • Built-in press scale
  • Cooling jacket for cylinder
  • Staircase for easy access to press
  • Inline pH monitoring and regulation
